When you are relaxed and in a perfect frame of mind you can see the answers more clearly, that is why I tell my clients that they too will be working hard. By creating a relaxed state you will once again be able to see the wood for the tress, change the way you think in order to feel better, more confident and more in control.

Rather than rehashing ‘root’ causes and picking apart the past it is instead very much focused on the here and now – and more importantly moving forward. SFBT is all about building solutions, starting with the small steps that will lead on to bigger changes.
The language of solutions is positive, hopeful and future-focused. Why is it brief? Simply because most problems will be helped within a short time scale, the average number of sessions is between five and ten.
This is very brief when one considers some therapists see their clients for months, even years. SFBT is all about finding a format for change and when this is combined with hypnotic techniques we are really preparing our brains for action.
